About the position

Zetterbergs has been around since 1923. They manufacture truck superstructures and are today an important part of Sweden's automotive and manufacturing industry. Here, craftsmanship is combined with automated production technology. Under one roof, the entire production flow exists. They have their production in Östervåla, where they have been since their inception.

Your main tasks

As a painter, you will work with the painting of truck superstructures. Your main tasks include, among others:

• Prepare and treat surfaces for painting, such as sanding, filling, and masking.
• Apply primer and topcoat using spray equipment.
• Ensure that the painting meets high quality standards and fulfills the company's requirements for precision and finish.
• Work with different types of paints and color systems according to specified guidelines.
• Follow the company's safety procedures and proactively work to maintain a safe working environment.
• Contribute to keeping a clean and organized workplace.
• Contribute to the work of continuously improving our processes.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience as a painter, preferably in heavy industry or the automotive industry.
• Good knowledge of working with spray painting and various color systems.
• Experience in preparatory work such as sanding, masking, and priming.
• High precision and attention to detail to achieve high-quality results.
• Understanding of occupational health and safety requirements related to painting work.

It is a merit if you have:

• Experience in painting within the heavy vehicle industry
• Knowledge of and experience working according to ISO-certified occupational health systems
• Education in industrial painting or similar
